Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of brainflex and the tuition services we provide. By booking an assessment, enrolling a child, or using a brainflex account, you agree to them. The account holder must be a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or above.

2. Our service

brainflex delivers live small-group lessons online via scheduled video sessions. Classes are taught in real time by a teacher — they are not pre-recorded. Standard class size is five students, and may reach seven only when a student joins for a make-up session. Session recordings, where available, are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed for every lesson.

3. Fees and billing

The Learning Gap Assessment is charged as a one-off payment at the time of booking. Ongoing weekly classes are billed monthly in advance at the rate shown at the time of enrolment. A partial first month is prorated by the number of days covered. Fees are in Singapore dollars and are processed by our third-party payment provider. Launch pricing is held for as long as your child remains continuously enrolled.

4. Refunds and cancellation

Placeholder — coming soon. Our refund and cancellation terms are being finalised and will be published here. Until then, please contact us directly and we will deal with any refund or cancellation request individually.

5. Attendance and rescheduling

Please give advance notice if your child cannot attend a session so we can arrange a make-up place where one is available. Make-up sessions depend on capacity in another group at the same level and subject and cannot be guaranteed. Missed sessions without notice are not carried forward.

6. Acceptable use

Accounts are for one family and must not be shared. Lesson materials, worksheets and recordings are for the enrolled child's personal study only and may not be copied, redistributed or resold. We may suspend an account for conduct that disrupts a class or endangers other students.

7. Intellectual property

All brainflex teaching materials, assessments and platform content remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that material to you.

8. Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill but do not guarantee any particular academic outcome or examination result. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will publish the revised version on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
